Whitehall Public Library is now looking for artists and crafters to participate in the 4th Annual ART SHOW

When: Saturday, April 24, 2010
Where: South Hills Country Club

HALLOWEEN HAPPENING - for Adults October 29

Leave your wallet at home, but bring your old, unworn, or broken gold, silver and platinum jewelry and turn it into CASH!
The Gold Home Party Buyer will be purchasing instead of selling! Bring that old class ring, broken necklace, sterling silver fl atware set, silver coins, even dental gold and leave the party with CASH in your pocket! There are no presentations or demonstrations to sit through!
You can help the library during this special fundraising event and make some extra money for the holidays! REGISTRATION IS REQUESTED. Of course, "walk-ins" are welcome too.

Summer Reading Programs 2009

"Be Creative @ Your Library" this summer at the Whitehall Public Library and explore the worlds of music, dance, art, and books. The 2009 Summer Reading Program is open to babies through adults, with programs, prize drawings, story hours, a reading club, and more.

Book Sale -- A Great Success!

Thanks to all who contributed to our Book Sale and Bake Sale to make this event such a success. Again, a special thank you to Whitehall residents Dottie and Ray Coll, owners of Two Men and a Truck moving company for donating their services for the library Blow Out Book Sale. Their company moved hundreds of boxes from the library's off-site storage facility to the Community Room at the Whitehall Borough building. We THANK YOU!

Preview Sale - Thursday, June 4th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

Just $5.00 at the door gets you the pick of the sale-- and a free tote bag! Children under 16 free with accompanying parent.

Sale Days - Friday and Saturday June 5th & 6th from 9:00am to 5:00pm. There will also be a special community bake sale benefiting the library on Saturday - Get books and goodies to go!

Bag Day - Sunday, June 7th is $5.00 per bag sale (we supply the bag) from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
All proceeds benefit the Whitehall Public Library and its collections. Cash and Check only, please. Re-stocks Daily!
